Going through my list of recipes I want to try before summer ends, I came across this one! It's delicious for a relaxing evening while watching the Olympics which I did :D This is a lot more simple than I expected, and tasted sweet enough for me, but not too sweet for my mom and grandma :)
Yields about 3 servings (depending on how sweet you want your drink to be)
Ingredients
2/3 cup milk (I used 1/3 2% and 1/3 skim milk)
6 tablespoons white chocolate chips
Freshly brewed coffee (enough to fill about 3 medium mugs)
Whipped cream to top it off
Cinnamon for garnish or white chocolate shavings (optional)
Directions
- Heat milk and chocolate chips in a small saucepan until melted
- While that is heating up, brew coffee
- Once milk and chocolate chips are melted/heated up, pour 1/3 of the mixture into 3 separate mugs
- Fill the rest of the mugs with coffee
- Top with whipped cream and cinnamon if desired
- Sip and ENJOY!
