Besides my internship, I have been busy working on homemade Christmas gifts! I decided to put them on here for future ideas for whoever would like to use them.
Crochet Potholders- I used Sugar & Cream Yarn from Joanns, and followed this video on how to make them. It is a super easy and enjoyable project, even if you are new to crocheting like I was!
Another cheap gift my mom and I put together was a wine and cheese basket. Someone gave us the basket, but the wine was from Trader Joe's for 2.99 (It doesn't taste cheap though!) We found hard cheese, salami, and crackers from Trader Joe's, and sturdy wine glasses for $1 each.
Something I've grown an interest for is painting! When I need to just relax, painting and listening to music is just perfect. I had no idea that I would be any good at it, but it looked fun. Here are some very cheap gift ideas. Three flat canvases from Joanns costs under $4.00 with a 40% off coupon. The frames are $1.00 each from the dollar store.
Another cute little painting gift idea is ornaments! At Joanns they have mini easels and mini canvases! I painted on the canvas and hot glued it to the easel. Then I wrapped string around the easel to hang it on the tree! Super easy and cute!
I know Christmas is over, but I hope I inspired you for some homemade gifts for next year! God Bless and Happy New Year!
