Peanut Butter & Banana French Toast

So I’m done with my labs! Now it’s time to experiment with cooking at home! I was looking on foodgawker while bored and found this recipe.

It was mouth-watering just looking at it because I am such a fan of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I made these for brunch one day at home and they were delicious!

First of all, you make your peanut butter and banana sandwiches, spreading the peanut butter and slicing your banana thin, and adding however much you desire. Then beat 1 egg, or if making more than one sandwich beat more eggs. Then add a splash or two of orange juice, a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. That’s what the recipe I found called for, so I went with it! It didn’t taste wierd or anything....believe me :D

Heat a skillet and melt a little butter on it, dip both sides of the sandwich into the egg mixture and place on the skillet....flipping after browned. Once both sides are brown, pour syrup over the top and garnish with banana slices and/or crushed peanuts. Then...you enjoy!!!
