This is another recipe that I found just browsing through the Internet! My cousin had an excess amount of peanut butter and asked me about ways to use it up! I was searching peanut butter recipes and this one was perfect! For peanut butter lovers or those that wanna use up a lot of their peanut butter, this recipe is perfect and easy!
...And it's also good for dogs who love to lick out every last bit of peanut butter from an empty container :P
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 jar peanut butter, I used creamy
6 cups corn flakes
1/4 cup chocolate chips, I used semi sweet
Directions
1. Mix sugar and corn syrup in a medium saucepan, then heat to boil.
2. After boiling, take pan off heat and stir in peanut butter.
3. Put corn flakes in a large bowl, and then pour peanut butter mixture over it, stirring until all corn flakes are covered with the mixture
4. Shape tablespoon amounts of corn flakes to form a ball or cluster and place on waxed paper or tinfoil.
5. Once all shaped, melt chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds so the chocolate doesn't burn
6. Drizzle over the clusters (I put melted chocolate in a ziploc bag and snipped a hole in the corner for easy drizzling)
